Automated Tester - London

A voice and brokerage company are looking for an Automated Tester to work on a permanent role. They MUST have strong skills in Mercury Quick Test Professional (QTP) as well as Quality Centre formerly Test Director.

You must come from a financial background in Investment Banking or Brokerage

The role is focused on the Middle Office so heavily on Post Trade, as well as skills in Front Office Test on the GUI side.

Skills needed

Must be mainly a Automated tester with some Manual

Fixed income knowledge / Experience n

* 3 years minimum working in QA or Development testing for investment banking or brokerage.

* Test management tools for functional testing, test planning, test cases development and execution - i.e. Mercury Quality Center or Test Director, Rational, Compuware.

* Experience automating complex GUI interfaces with Mercury Quick Test Professional.

* Issue reporting and tracking preferably with tools such as Mercury Quality Center or Test Director, PVCS Tracker, Compuware TrackRecord or Bugzilla.

* Working knowledge of capital markets; particularly in Fixed Income and/or Equities trading, reporting and settlement.

* Basic SQL, Basic UNIX skills, Unix shell scripting.

* Working Knowledge of system architecture including the following technologies: Client Server C++, .NET multi-tiered SOA, Business Intelligence Systems (data enrichment.)

* Experience in testing, monitoring and planning for functional and performance scenarios, capacity testing, industry benchmarks and performance SLA's.


The role is 70% automated and 30% manual so a good all-rounder is needed.
