Job Description:
Prestigious Global Pharmaceutical Company in Berkshire are seeking an experienced Lead IS Business Consultant to provide consultancy, demand management, relationship management, project management and business intelligence related services to assigned clients. Technical skills required for this role are Cognos and ideally Informatica. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus, pension, Healthcare and 25 days annual leave.

PURPOSE

*Provide basic domain management, business consultancy, project management and business intelligence related services to assigned business clients. You may also provide program management services and will lead and manage a small team of IS Business consultants / business intelligence analysts.
*Provide ongoing consultation with clients and identify and analyse business needs, influences and negotiate scope and requirement.
*Champion innovative recommendations for process changes and technical enabled solutions.

This role interfaces with Business clients, IS Colleagues and external business partner agencies. You will therefore need to simultaneously manage external partners during the project execution.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

*Degree level education.
*Experience of working within a similar role, ideally within a similar industry (Pharmaceutical / Healthcare).
*Strong business process knowledge and demonstrated capability to apply technology solutions in addressing complex business issues.
*Demonstrated project management capability based on the successful completion of projects in multiple business areas.
*Business Intelligence essential, with solid skills in Analytics, Data warehousing, ETL - Data Integration and Dashboard reporting.
*Experience of business partnering and managing small teams.
*Experience in developing, maintaining and applying a business, data, application and technical architecture within a functional domain.
*Solid technical experience in all or most of the following (Need to have experience in at least 50% of the following) - Cognos (later versions) - ESSENTIAL, Informatica - HIGHLY DESIRABLE, Oracle - NICE TO HAVE, Dashboards / Scorecards, Datawarehouse, ETL/Integration, Advanced Analytics, OLAP, Standard reporting, Planning and Ad Hoc Analysis.
*Experienced in the use of Prototyping tools.
*Informed on current and new technologies and their applicability to the business.
*Must have previous experience of managing business priorities and small projects across a business area.
*Strong foundation in and an in-depth understanding of - methodologies for system design, development and implementation. - All phases of the project implementation life cycle. - validation and regulatory requirements.
*Previous international experience.
