Job Description:
A Leading Financial services organisation, that specialise in systems integration and software development are seeking an experienced ETL Developer, to join a newly established team in Southern Ireland, responsible for establishing a software development operation, that will service their global branches.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for the development of the MIS interfaces, using IBM's ETL tool Datastage. The candidate will be responsible for maintenance and support of the existing interfaces including investigation of issues and production troubleshooting. You will support critical applications for Europe and North America.

MUST HAVE

*DataStage parallel and server experience, preferably 8.x
*Solid experience of DataStage 8.0/7.5
*Experience developing both server and parallel jobs running on a Unix platform against relational databases such as Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server systems as source and target data environments.
*Experience working in all phases of a full life cycle, including low-level design.
*Strong knowledge of Unix Korn Shell Scripting.
*Strong knowledge of relational and dimensional database concepts.
*You will need to have excellent ability in team building skills, positive attitude, detail orientated, self motivated and strong project management skills.
*Be able to manage projects simultaneously.

Occasional weekends and late night support may be required for production support and migration.
