IMAC Network Engineer- LAN/WAN, Cisco, IP, UNIX/LINUX
We are a large prestigious financial company in London are currently looking for an IMAC (Installation moving and changing) Network Engineer on the basis of initially a 3 Month contract paying between £300- £320p/d.
You must come from a Financial background (preferably Investment)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
Network Professional with experience working on 'large' complex LAN/WAN IP networks within global financial markets production arena.
Experience of IP routing protocols including specifically BGP and IP multicast functionality; specifically PIM.
"Hands-on" experience of Cisco product range including VPN products.
Basic UNIX / LINUX administration skills.
Familiar with network management tools and techniques.
Main Duties Of This Role:
Liaising with customers to ensure their connectivity requirements are provisioned efficiently.
Liaising internally within other teams.
Providing technical support during the provisioning process.
Providing all necessary supporting documents.
