Job Description:
Head of IT required for a large consulting and business services group, based in the North East. This is a unique opportunity for someone strategically focused, to head the IT function for a large outsourcing partnership programme.

OBJECTIVE

The key objective of the role is to deliver innovation and service excellence for the companies customers as well as strong growth for the organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include:
*Developing strong relationships with customers.
*Driving strategic thinking and helping the customers utilise IT to deliver more cost effective services.
*Delivering agreed solutions, to include Web Channel Shifting, VOIP, Thin Client and Mobile technology
*Management of a large team in excess of 50
*deliver IT enabled business change and transformation of systems and organisations.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

We are looking for a dynamic strategic focused IT Professional with the following skills and experiences:

*Experience of delivering ICT enabled business change.
*Strong record of managing large teams.
*Expertise in policy development and innovative thinking.
*Expert in strategic delivery.
*Ability to build effective relations, with a range of stakeholders, who will play key roles in ensuring the projects success.
*Experience of working for a public sector organisation, as you will be working closely with a public sector organisation in this role.
*Knowledge of SAP ERP / CRM or Portals technology would be highly advantageous.
