Job Description:
eading engineering consultancy with over 7500 employees nationwide and a turnover of over £400 million, are currently looking for a Web Content Manager to work with the Knowledge Management Team to provide leadership and expert knowledge in intranet content management.

The Key objective of the role is to facilitate the delivery of improved business performance through the effective use of corporate intranet and its facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Designing, documenting, implementing, maintaining, monitoring and reporting of processes under the authority of the intranet board.

- Identifying web publishing best practices, from both internal and external sources, generating proposals for the board where appropriate and liaising with the Communication Team and MIS to design and implement best practice appropriately.

- Developing and implementing a programme to make best use of the knowledge management tool in terms of 'reuse of knowledge' and as a 'collaborative mechanism'.

- Developing and delivering the annual intranet website awards.


REQUIREMENTS

Candidates MUST HAVE :

- A genuine interest in delivering business benefit through the use of intranet technologies.

- A comprehensive knowledge of good practices in the use of technologies to share information and knowledge.

- Good understanding of relevant web regulations/legislations.

- IT Literate - Good understanding of web technologies.
