Job Description:
A number of Java Developers are required for this prestigious financial organisation, you will be required to work on a number of exciting projects in the development and enhancement of cutting edge electronic trading applications.

You will be required to come in and work in a hands-on Java development role which involves working closely with the business and other technology teams in order to implement changes to the existing core trade processing applications.

Skills required;

Java development experience.

* Minimum of 5 years experience of professional software development.
* Minimum of 4 years development experience of Java.

Desirable (Experience in any or all of these will be favourable)

* Development experience of integration and messaging technologies MQ Series, Trace, Mule.
* Development experience in at least one major RDBMS (e.g. Sybase.)

Working knowledge of any of the following technologies:

* UNIX scripting.
* Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
* XML / XSD.
* Web development / Swing.
* Web Services.

* Experience with a modern software development methodology (e.g. Agile, Scrums, TDD, Continuous Integration.)
* Knowledge of any of the following business areas: Settlement systems, Fixed Income, Equity and Money Markets.

This role would suit someone looking to get into the finance markets as it does not require previous financial experience.
