I graduated from Greenwich University, with a degree in Information Systems, joining the company in 2005, entering recruitment as my career of choice as it offered me the opportunity to utilise my IT knowledge within a people orientated environment.
Although I initially started as a generalist IT recruiter, I found that I developed a strong understanding, passion and knowledge of Scrum Agile, which has proved more and more valuable within my role due to the expanding use of this methodology across so many industry sectors.
What do I get most from the job? Simple – I love being able to do a job where I can build long-term, on-going relationships with people, actively helping them build their careers and their lives. It is a great feeling when Clients and Candidates just call me to chat something over, gain some advice or ask for fresh perspective on their situation – it shows that that genuinely consider me as much more than just a supplier to their business.
