Our New Media clientbase in London seem to all want the same skills right now – Flash Actionsript Developers.

Over the last week we have received about 10 different enquiries, all asking for Senior Flash Developers, both for contracts and for permanent jobs, with Actionscript programming skills.

Job Description:
Senior Flash Actionscript Developer

Salary and Par rates:
£30,000 - £40,000 per annum
£275 – £300 per day

Key Responsibilities:
You will work with the project management, server side and creative departments to deliver exciting flash based games and learning objects. Problem solving, time management skills and teamwork are key to the role.

Above all we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and motivated about development and games with great attention to detail and the passion to deliver rich user experience.

Key Skills
Extensive experience developing complex, data driven Flash games and applications including:
- 5+ years experience in Actionscript programming including at least 2 years in AS3
- Experience of Object Oriented Programming
- Knowledge of AS frameworks - Cairngorm, PureMVC, Parsley etc - with experience using at least one.
- Experience with AS Libraries for Physics and 3D - Papervision3D, Box2DFlash, TweenMax
- Experience with development tools and build processes including Eclipse, FDT, Ant, SVN and ASDoc and of course the Flash IDE.
- Experience with integration of external data services using  XML
- Experience of Flash SEO and deep linking techniques using SWFAddress and SWFObject
- Knowledge of Flash optimization techniques
- Experience of writing technical documents

Desirable
- Experience developing Multiplayer games using one of the currently available multiplayer servers
- Knowledge and experience of Flex
- Experience with Unit testing and TDD

Candidates should be able to demonstrate previous work including examples of their code and describe their role in the projects.
