Job Description:
A well established recruitment agency who run a daily payroll are looking to recruit a Senior Network Design and Development Engineer to work for a global financial institution based in Canary Wharf. Candidates are requested to reply with a solid networking background gained within a trading environment. The contract role requires strong experience of working within switching and routing technology and how to apply them in a service oriented enterprise environment. Ability to operate at a tactical level daily whilst not losing focus of strategic objectives is also required. It is essential that candidates have expert knowledge of IP routing/multicast routing such as OSPF, BGP, MSDP & PIM. Internet and WAN protocols experience are also required such as SDH, DWDM and BGP, MPLS. Any knowledge of Juniper products and JUNOS very useful although not essential. Experience of Data Centre infrastructure such as structured cabling, power distribution and cooling again beneficial.
