Job Description:
A leading consultancy requires an onsite IT Support Engineer to join the team providing overall administration of day-today IT support services.


As the IT Support Engineer you will be working closely with end users, team members and other technical IT teams to provide overall administration of the IT services.

Your key activities as the IT Support Engineer:

* Efficiently resolve user incidents/requests complying with ITIL processes
* Manage the IT support call queues ensuring tickets are processed and allocated
* Laptop/Desktop support including hardware network operating system & applications including, configure desktops/laptops, maintain & administer all loan equipment
* Conduct physical IT asset management and IT inventory maintenance
* Provide telephony and audio visual (projectors / screens) support
* Incident management around Onsite support services, investigating escalations and missed SLA's.
* Provide/update documentation on current processes/systems and create documents for new procedures/systems.

You as the IT Support Engineer will have the following skills:

* Experience of a busy service desk / local support environment
* Excellent documentation skills for processes and procedures.
* Must have excellent customer facing qualities with a flexible, can do attitude.
* Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007/2010.
* MCP or equivalent in Microsoft Windows XP/7 and/or Windows Server, desirable.
* Excellent skills in Microsoft Outlook 2007/2010.
* Must have good working knowledge of machine Imagining
* Working knowledge of Networking & TCP/IP.
* Excellent trouble-shooting skills.
