Jobs in Video Gaming have been an emerging aspect of Jenrick IT's service offfering within recent years - and we are currently receiving more and more roles on a daily basis.

C++ Programmers Jobs:

  • The Gaming Industry’s, most-used programming language is C++.  
  • They look for candidates experienced in mathematical programming and have a real passion for Video Gaming.
  • You must be able to write extremely fast code.
  • As a career you have the earning potentials of £35,000 - £55,000+ on a permanent salary and £350 - £450+ on a daily rate for a contractor. 

3D Artist Jobs:

  • As an artist, you should become an expert using 3DS Max or Maya within technical skills in 3D Modeling, Texturing, Lighting, Animation, Reactor / Physics Animation and Rigging.
  • Having a degree in 3D Art and a polished portfolio would help a lot.
  • As an 3D Artist you could earn between £30,000 - £40,000+ on a permanent salary and £200 - £250+ on a daily rate for a contractor

Games Designer Jobs:

  • As a Games Designer you would be responsible for creating the background story, the game mechanics and the whole look of the game including level designs, and characters.
  • You would need to have excellent analytical, facilitation and organizational skills, with a strong command of written and verbal English.
  • You must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business to technical and non-technical members of staff.
  • As a Games Designer you could earn up to £50,000+ on a permanent salary and £250+ on a daily rate for a contractor
