Job Description:
A VAX VMS support analyst / environment manager is required for this prestigious financial services company. The role will involve the creation, maintenance and running of test systems and the upgrade of software and databases in test, customer test and production environments. This will also require the development of utility scripts in DCL to assist in the above processes
Essential:
* VAX VMS / DCL.
* PASCAL.
* Oracle RDB.
* SQL.
Desirable:
* C.
* Knowledge of Redhat Linux and Oracle 10g/11g.
* Understanding of Financial Services / Electronic trading.
* Understand application systems structure and database structures.
* Be able to identify acceptable testing strategies.
