Staff photo competition

Thank you to everyone who entered the Jenrick staff photo competition for 2007.

The Jenrick Photo Competition was set to find out what different photos are favoured by different members of staff. Over 150 photos were eventually submitted into the competition from around 20 members of the Jenrick Team.

We were very lucky to enlist the expert help of our regular photographers, Abi and Giles from Media Wisdom Photography, a national award winning company based in South West London, to use their impartiality to decide upon the eventual winners.

First and foremost – THE WINNERS...

The First Prize - 'Boat Reflection' (picture number 1) sent in by Ray Hunt (Engineering) shone out as soon as we saw it. The colours, clarity, unusual angle, balance of the shot and the great use of reflection just grabbed our attention straight away.

The Second Prize - 'Belgium' (picture number 2) sent in by Chris Chilton (CPI) was technically and visually a superb image. The balance and framing of the shot and use of perspective made it a very well deserved second place.

The Third Prize - 'Sand Dune' (picture number 3) sent in by Jo Taylor (Jenrick Group) was a powerfully framed image. We loved being able to see the sweep of the top of the dune. The whole image gave a strong feeling of travel and seclusion.

The competition was so popular this year that we are planning to open it up to clients and candidates for 2008 - so, get clicking!
