Job Description:
A Leading Financial services organisation, that specialise in systems integration and software development are seeking an experienced Windows Server Engineer, to join a newly established team in Southern Ireland, responsible for establishing a software development operation, that will service their global branches.

In this role you will be responsible for the support and maintenance of Windows Servers and Voice & Data networks supporting the business within the Americas and EMEA regions. You will be required to work a shift pattern of 2am to 2pm - 4 on and 4 off, due to the time zones you will be supporting.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED IN THE ROLE-

Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Administration.
Active Directory
Citrix: XenApp 5/6, PVS, AppSense 7/8
Programming languages: Korn Shell, Java, XML
Symantec Netbackup 6.5/7
Cisco: UCS Blade Chassis and FI
VMWARE: ESXi, vCenter, Update Manager, vMotion, DRS, Distributed Switches.
Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
Storage: SAN Technologies, Fibre-channel, iSCSI, WWN

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

You will need to have proven experience in the following -
Wintel project experience, including Implementation and deployment.
*Good understanding of Windows Infrastructures
*Established experience in enterprise Citrix / XenApp Infrastructure
*Experience of managing virtulised infrastructure.
*Customer focues, flexible and willing to take ownership of issues.
* Good interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
